Snow!!

There is snow in Luleå!

Snow!

It stormed most of the night, and snowed apparently. It hasn’t stopped snowing yet. This pile is what met me when I went to get breakfast this morning. A lovely pile of snow outside our kitchen window :D

Back on track

Back in Luleå, back in our apartment. I could say back to life, but everything I do is life really. Just that this is the bigger part of my life right now.

I’ve had a wonderful summer, spending time with my family. Mum and I talk a lot, there’s a lot of crying, discussing, confessing and laughing. I have a lot of things to learn, think about and consider, and I think I know myself better now.

It’s also great to get to talk to my sister, we don’t really get these good talks over msn or phone. There is something special about walking and talking, definitely, and we do it really well :) Boo, I miss them already and I only left yesterday.

I feel stressed. There’s so much I want to do and that I need to get done. I don’t know where to start.

Summer nights

I spent four hours walking all the way to the other side of Luleå today. I know I should tell you all about it, but it’s four in the morning and I’m dead tired. It wasn’t awesome (why do I use that word all the time?) but it was an experience. I guess it was worth it, but I’m not doing it again anytime soon! 10 km is a bit much for this lazy girl, especially when you end up waiting 40 min for the bus home. Bleh

I’m going to give in to that awesome bed and the flickering summer night (morning?) sun. I know you’re jealous.

Soothing walks

I definitely need to take more walks. With or without music, with or without friends, doesn’t really matter. I ignored the wind and went out for a walk for an hour tonight, it’s so nice when everything is calm and quiet and you can just walk around anywhere. One thing everyone should get a chance to do is taking a summer night walk in a northern part of the world, where the sun never sets. I would of course advise Luleå, and I would definitely join :)

Oh, and don’t forget to remove your shoes and socks and run around a bit at a golf course.

Flying home

Tomorrow at 11, I’m flying home to mum and dad again. Will probably spend most of my summer there, depending on if we decide to do a trip. I will definitely miss Luleå and all of my friends, but it will be nice to see my family and just relax.

For those of you who are in Luleå, I miss you already and I hope we can meet up during the summer. :)

Light and dark

Night in MayAnother “late night shot” from Luleå. I’m still not used to the light, so I still get amazed. I just love it. The last time we were out dancing, we went home at about 2.30 am, and it was light as if it was 9 am. On top of that, I get these amazing sunrises/sunsets just outside my window. If I stop and think, my life is kinda awesome.

One exam done, two to go. I will survive.
