Sometimes it’s tempting to blog anonymously. The freedom and relief in being able to write anything, get things out, put them on paper. And at the same time you’re not hurting anyone, since no one knows who you are. Nothing you say can be connected to the people you write about. You can also write silly things, stupid things, and no one will judge you. At least not the real you, because they can’t reach you.
The downside is feedback, and acknowledgement. I still want feedback and want to be seen, of course. To get that, you need to be “famous”, you need to write things people like to read. And that kinda destroys the purpose of writing anonymously, at least for me. The only reason I would write anonymously would be to write things I need to write.
I don’t know.
